The Stock Index (SI) team has a combineded almost 40 years experience dealing in the Australian Stockmarket. We have graduate and post-graduate qualifications in commerce and finance. Between us we have worked on the equities dealing desks of Potter Warburg (now UBS), Prudential Bache, Banque Nationale de Paris (now BNP Paribas) and a major Austrialian investment bank.

We are particularly interested in the quantitative or statistical aspects of the financial markets.  The brokers and the mainstream financial press provide more than ample cover the fundamentals of the market. At SI, we believe the “quant” research can  potentially add additional practical value to the individual investor, and this is our area of interest.
